1. Sponsor
This giveaway (the "Promotion") is sponsored by Cranky Kitten, operated by Christoph Ploner, Georg Hahnekampstraße 13, 7000 Eisenstadt, Austria ("Sponsor"). Questions: hello@crankykitten.com.
2. Eligibility
Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old (or the age of majority in their state, whichever is greater) at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family/household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
3. Promotion Period
The Promotion runs in consecutive monthly entry periods. Each monthly entry period begins at 12:00:00 a.m. ET on the first day of the calendar month and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on the last day of that calendar month (each, an "Entry Period"). The Promotion is ongoing; Sponsor may modify or discontinue it at any time with notice posted here.
4. How to Enter (Free)
During any Entry Period, visit crankykitten.com/win-a-shirt and submit the entry form with your first name and a valid email address. Entry is completely free. Limit one (1) entry per person/email. Your single entry automatically enrolls you in that month's drawing and every subsequent monthly drawing until you unsubscribe. There is no other method of entry and no purchase is ever required; purchasing a product does not affect your chances of winning. Entries generated by script, bot, or that are incomplete or fraudulent are void.
5. Prize & Approximate Retail Value (ARV)
One (1) winner per monthly drawing receives one (1) Cranky Kitten shirt of the winner's choice from the Cranky Kitten catalog. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $25 USD. The prize is fulfilled by shipping the chosen shirt to the winner or, at Sponsor's discretion, by providing a retailer gift code of equal value so the winner can obtain the shirt. Prize is non-transferable; no cash alternative except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Only one prize per person per drawing.
6. Odds
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing.
7. Winner Selection & Notification
For each Entry Period, one potential winner is selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries shortly after the Entry Period ends. The potential winner is notified by email at the address provided. To claim the prize, the winner must respond within 7 days of notification and provide the shipping/fulfillment details reasonably required. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 7 days, is ineligible, or declines the prize, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected at random, time permitting.
8. Taxes
The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes associated with the prize. Given the prize value, no tax form is anticipated; however, Sponsor may request a completed IRS Form W-9 and issue a Form 1099-MISC if a winner's prizes from Sponsor reach the applicable IRS reporting threshold in a calendar year.
9. Publicity
Except where prohibited, by accepting a prize the winner consents to Sponsor's use of the winner's first name and state/city to announce winners (e.g., on crankykitten.com or social channels) without additional compensation.
10. Privacy
Information you submit is handled under our Privacy Policy. By entering you agree to receive email from Cranky Kitten; you may unsubscribe at any time (unsubscribing also removes you from future drawings).
11. Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants release the Sponsor and its owners, affiliates, and agents from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance/use of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or undeliverable entries or emails, or for technical failures of any kind.
12. Disputes & Governing Law
Except where prohibited, the Promotion and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of Austria (the Sponsor's jurisdiction). Because the Promotion is open to U.S. residents, all applicable United States federal, state and local laws and regulations governing sweepstakes also apply. Any disputes will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
13. Winners List
For the name of a monthly winner, email hello@crankykitten.com within 60 days after the applicable drawing.
14. Platform Disclaimer
This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Meta, YouTube, Pinterest, or any other platform. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion must be directed to the Sponsor, not to any platform.
